In a rare move for a conservative leaning publication, Heartland News has announced that it supporting intersectionality. Until now intersectionality has been a concept adopted by the far left and woke liberals. But this may be a new trend as conservatives jump on board and expand its definition.
Heartland’s Chief Nonsense Officer, Dean Erlandson, said recently “beginning in grade school and continuing through college, America’s children are being taught intersectionality. Society is learning the interconnected nature of things like race, class, and gender as they apply to a given individual or group. They see an overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage. We understand this discrimination in the workplace and society and want to ensure that all members of our society are not discriminated against.”
Heartland News has identified many additional groups currently being discriminated against:
Blondes and gingers – This group is often easily dismissed and victims of micro aggressions such as jokes and innuendo. All because of their hair color and skin pigment.
Old people – Human resource professionals often view this group as career blockers for the younger and “high potential” employees. Thus, they are often shuffled aside and put in low impact positions. They sit in their cubicles and watch as their younger, less experienced peers make all the mistakes they could have help them avoid.
Dumb people – You see them everywhere. You know the ones. They have degrees and some even with advanced degrees from prestigious universities. They consider themselves to be “above average” or even “brilliant” yet believe in things such has the 1619 Project and Critical Race Theory. We must put an end to the ridicule and complete lack of respect given these people (often behind their backs.)
Christians – The most persecuted group in the world. Just think of the millions of people who wished ill of the Colorado baker, the Covington kids and the Sisters of The Poor.
The rich – Despite paying the majority of taxes, giving large amounts to charitable organizations and employing many, this group is under constant attack. Usually from the jealous, entitled and least productive members of society. You know the ones: politicians, academicians and anyone associated with media.
White males – The dirty little secret among human resource professionals, diversity and inclusion consultants and societies most racist and sexists’ groups, white males are “persona non grata.” Often treated as one large group, white males have been blamed for everything bad in the world. White male senior executives, actors and politicians are often some of the toughest on other white males. Mostly in order to protect their own positions and demonstrate how avant-garde they really are.
Mr. Erlandson went on to say, “Whenever you put people in groups you run the risk of dehumanizing and discriminating against them. Our list is endless. Short people, tall people, bald men, feminine males, masculine females etc. We finally concluded that maybe we should look at everyone as an individual. Consider them based on their character, contributions and positive impact on others.”
