Heartland News Launches “Anti-Woke” Training, Other Programs recently announced the introduction of anti-woke employee training for both their east and west headquarter locations. All employees are set to complete the training by end of 2021. In addition, the company has instituted additional anti-woke employee benefits.

In the announcement the company said, “We are excited to launch this program for all employees. We are confident it will lead to an employee base that is more productive and happier not only in their work lives but also their personal lives”. The anti-woke training includes several modules:

  • Module 1 – Breaking the “Group Indoctrination Mindset.” Employees will be encouraged to consider their peers as individuals not what racial or sexual preference group they may belong to. How focusing on “good” groups or “bad” groups leads to racism and unfair labeling. The course will support Martin Luther King Jr.’s guidance by looking at the content of one’s actions and character rather than color of their skin.

  • Module 2 – Victimhood and the curse of low expectations. Attendees will discover the downside of seeing oneself or others as victims. Assessing oneself and the choices they make that led to current life situations and how best to change course will be discussed. How ascribing victimhood to others robs them of agency and diminishes their potential contributions leading to an environment of low expectations.

  • Module 3 – Success factors that matter. A deeper dive into research that shows life success factors that matter including education and skill development, marriage before kids and how delayed gratification works in an “instantaneous world.”

  • Module 4 – Putting it all into practice. Attendees will discuss ways they can push back against a woke culture in their work and personal lives. They will complete a self-assessment and set both short term and long-term objectives for themselves and their work groups.

Dean Erlandson, Chief Nonsense Officer for said, “We believe that the training, along with our new employee benefits, will drive a more inclusive working environment. In addition, supporting our associates with benefits that builds strong families, the corner stone of a strong society, will lead to higher engagement and productivity.” The company has announced new employee benefits that support this mission:

  • Paid time off for parents to attend school board meetings, student conferences, after school events, field trips and PTA meetings.

  • Assistance with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests so parents can gain access to and review their children’s school curriculum.

  • Private school or home-schooling assistance for parents of K-12 children.

  • Flexible and part-time employment to support parents that want to home school children.

  • No questions asked and confidential marriage and family counseling assistance.

  • "Must use" paid vacation policy.

Mr. Erlandson said, “While many companies encourage their associates through on site gyms, free meals and other incentives to stay at work longer, we want our team to have well balanced lives with the focus on the family. We believe treating each other as distinct and unique individuals at work and supporting their life outside of work will give us a competitive advantage.” has your back.
