Anonymous sources within the corporate recruiting industry have reported more and more companies are searching for a “token” conservative to join their organizations. In most cases, they are looking to add them to corporate boards, senior staff functions or to be part of a public relations group. Most companies are keeping these searches highly confidential.
Why, might you ask, would some of the most powerful companies want to hire a token conservative? After all, they have been outwardly hostile to any and all that hold or support traditional values. The quick answer is power and money.
Until recently, companies have been able to cater to the woke crowd and the fringe left by pandering and saying politically correct things. They have created diversity and inclusion departments with heads of D&I in hopes to show their commitment (even if their budgets are tiny.) They have given gobs of money to politically correct organizations in a type of modern day “protection.” Hoping the mob will go after others. They send their employees through racist training to help the workers understand they are either white suppressors or victims of an unfair system. Finally, they message on social media their support for the woke celeb of the moment to gain favor and money from a vocal and reactionary left.
A funny thing happened on the way to the party however. Those with traditional values woke up and started to notice what companies were doing. Despite corporate media trying to cover up what companies were doing and saying, alternative media started bringing to light these escapades. Companies and organizations like Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola, Nike, Major League Baseball, National Football League, National Basketball Association, Raytheon, American Airlines and many others saw major negative press and lost business. They will publicly claim their business is better this year but keep in mind they are comparing annual results to a pandemic year.
So now, much like they have done to protect themselves from the left they are looking to hire token conservatives to shore up their base. They can no longer count on traditional and conservative minded consumers to just grin and bear it. Companies have been so indoctrinated by leftist dogma they need someone internally that can help them navigate the waters and keep everyone in the boat. In addition, the vast number of employees are sick and tired of all the racist activity masquerading as diversity and inclusion. To retain their best people they need to ensure that everyone feels included, not just some.
Let’s hope that whoever they pick to be their token conservative, the position comes with considerable hazard pay.
